How to Download the demo for FREE

People have been finding it difficult to download the demo of DFX2 for free.  Here are some steps to downloading the demo, without having to pay for it.  Fun For Free- what could be better?!

1) Follow the link to the demo download site:http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/demo_dfx2/index.aspx
2) Click "Download the Open Demo"
3) You will then be prompted to Register, but you do NOT have to pay for a subscription. You will set up a free account with an email address. (If you already have a fileplanet subscription, then you can login as normal)
4) Login to the fileplanet site and download the game through the "free public server" column.

You will have a wait time to be able to download the game, but it will be 100% free that way! :)

Hope this helps. Let me know what you think of the demo!

DFX2: What Other Sites are Saying...

Delta Force Xtreme 2 (DFX2) seems to have been a secret that NovaLogic has been keeping, but it's debut is in the works.  Open Beta testing began late last week, on fileplanet's website, and the reviews are starting to hit the web, NovaWorld's Forum, and many other places.

According to direct2drive.com the advantages of DFX2 over the original are:

  • Engage a ruthless enemy in 2 full campaigns of single-player and co-op action.
  • Join up to 150 players in simultaneous multiplayer battle across 40 all-new maps on NovaWorld.
  • Pick the perfect fight with level adjusted game servers hosting 5 different multiplayer game types.
  • Fight furious close-range gun battles on maps built for squad combat or coordinate your infantry with armored tanks, helicopters and boats for epic engagements over vast battlefields.
  • Rally your squad like never before on the all-new NovaWorld Community with customizable personal pages and squad pages featuring custom in-game emblems.

Many sites are saying that DFX2 has "improved game play, better weapons, realistic vehicle balancing and tons of new content making it the most complete Delta Force experience yet."
